In this course, you'll learn the essentials of maintaining a sourdough starter, perfecting the fermentation process, and baking delicious loaves from scratch.
With hands-on instruction and expert tips, you'll develop the skills and confidence needed to create flavorful sourdough bread at home.
Led by skilled local baker Michelle Ojovan with Kiosk Bakery.
First, we’ll dive into theory, followed by hands-on practice mixing and shaping your own loaves! Ending with some time for questions and sending everyone home with a loaf ready to stick in the oven and enjoy.
*Students will need to have a Dutch oven at home to bake the bread. Please bring notebook and something to write with.
Kit includes: Jar with active starter, proofing basket, scoring lame, dough whisk, bench scraper, flour duster and printed guide with extra sourdough recipes for you to try. Kit included in price of course.
